Association Mission: To improve the individual and collective proficiency of our members; to encourage association of common interest among law enforcement officers; to bring young people together with the law enforcement profession through educational programs; to introduce our youth to the challenging and exciting world of motor sports as a hobby and potential vocation; to focus our communities on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, gangs, aggressive driving and illegal street racing; to work to build the bridge between the community, youth and adult, and the law enforcement profession.
THANK YOU TO THE FOLLOWING SPONSORS AND FRIENDS
FOR ALLOWING US TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
The members of the IPRA, in partnership with our sponsors, are committed to working both locally and abroad with communities and organizations. Our goal simply is to push the right messages to our youth about the many dangers associated with aggressive driving, drunk driving, street racing, focus on education, and resistance to drug and gang influences. We actively seek out, on our own time and with our own resources, places to bring our cars and message. You may find us at race tracks, car shows, public and private schools, scout meetings, communitee picnics, etc. If your organization or community is interested in inviting us to present to any group, please feel free to contact us via email at ipra922@yahoo.com

Recent News: January 2012 / The Illinois Police Racing Association is going through a rebuild. We traveled to alot of locations with a law enforcement theme program, giving presentations, showing the cars and trying to make a difference to the communities we work for. After 13 seasons of moving this circus around and making a difference to the audience we encountered, we are taking a step back and look at the program that has been created. After long discussions with all parties involved, Sponsors, Family, and Friends, the ones that make this happen, we decided to remove the Law Enforcement theme to some of the cars and go to the shows, the races, and to any other event we attend and do it just to have fun. Thats it, the BIG news, We are going to be like the rest of you and do it to have FUN!
In a short time you will see a new look to this site, and you will see the new look to the cars. Like I said, it is a rebuild and alot of things are changing, So Stay Tuned
November 2010 / IT IS OFFICIAL!!!!!, The IPRA was recognized with the IRS and we are a 501 c3 Charity. This was a long and difficult process. This will help us in our mission to provide the program we can to the public we serve.
